Sylwia Wozniczka is a professional artist located in Katowice, Poland.
She has successfully completed Masters of Fine Arts in 2009 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, and received an award for one of the best Graduate Diplomas of 2009. Sylwia’s painting style is realistic, mostly representing women portrayed against architectural backgrounds with an extremely high degree of detail.
She is deeply fascinated with the aesthetics of Socialist Realism, which carries through as a recognizable element of her work. Her numerous portrait paintings stand as a reflection of an important historical period.
Sylwia finds it essential for the protagonists of her paintings to be people she shares a special bond with, combining an officially realistic aesthetic with a realm of privacy. Her work shows to be both innocent and perverse, which creates an intimate atmosphere.
She works as a metal engraver for hunting weapons during the day, and becomes a painter at night.

Sylwia Woźniczka ukończyła Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych im. Józefa Pankiewicza w Katowicach. Od 2004 roku studiowała na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych na kierunku Malarstwo w Katowicach, w 2009 roku obroniła dyplom w pracowni prof. Ireneusza Walczaka, za który otrzymała nagrodę Najlepsze Dyplomy 2009 ufundowana przez Biuro Projektowania Systemów Cyfrowych S.A. W Chorzowie. Sylwia Woźniczka maluje realistycznie, przede wszystkim portrety kobiet na tle architektury, dbając przy tym o wierność detalom. Częsta socrealistyczna stylizacja stała się swoistym znakiem rozpoznawczym jej obrazów i świadczy o wielkiej konsekwencji w wybranym przez siebie stylu malarskim. Na co dzień pracuje jako grawer broni myśliwskiej.
